Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim's future as Selangor Menteri Besar remains uncertain, despite guiding the opposition pact to an improved win in the 13th general election.
This is as there has been speculation that PKR deputy president Azmin Ali may assume the state's top post.
He added that the decision on the new menteri Besar is expected to be known next week.
The opposition pact has retained Selangor by winning 44 out of 56 state seats bettering its 2008 results of 32 seats.
However, PAS and DAP each has 15, while Tan Sri Khalid's PKR has 14.
It is believed that PAS is also vying for the Menteri Besar post.
