The Police and the Election Commission have lodged police reports against blogger Milo Suam for spreading rumours.
Its reported accuse the security personnel have started advance voting ahead of the date set by the EC on April 30th.
Assistant head of the Inspector-General of Police secretariat ACP Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said a police officer had lodged a report at the Tun Razak Police Station yesterday.
While an EC official lodged similar report in Putrajaya.
The case is being investigated under Section 505 B of the Penal Code for making or circulating rumours with intention to cause fear or alarm to the public.
Commenting on the issue Ramli said a number of police personnel who were registered postal voters have received their ballot papers and have exercised their right to vote.
Meanwhile, a total of 906 police reports have been lodged on various election offences since April 20th.
To date, 25 arrests have been made including three, yesterday.
