Police have only received reports on minor offences, since campaigning for the state election, began on May 25th.
Sarawak Police Commissioner, Datuk Seri Muhammad Sabtu Osman on Wednesday, said, police so far, had received 107 reports, mostly on the vandalism of election posters.
He also said as of Tuesday, police had opened 66 investigation papers on the complaints, and the cases were being investigated, under Sections 323 and 500 of the Penal Code, and Election Offences Act.
He added cops, had also mobilised 1,817 personnel, from various departments throughout the state, to beef up police presence, in all districts, until polling was over.
Authorities, also have yet to detect any betting activities on election outcomes, but have set up a special task force, to monitor the issue, until the election is over.
