PKR vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar has been barred from entering Sarawak.

She was stopped by Immigration personnel at the Miri airport upon arrival from Kuala Lumpur at 9.35 this morning.

Nurul Izzah subsequently tweeted that she was shocked at being barred, despite having written to Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem's office last week.

She also uploaded online a picture of the notice of refusal of entry... claiming she was not given any explanation on why she was barred.

Nurul Izzah then took the next flight to Kuala Lumpur and arrived at KLIA2 around noon.

This is not the first time she has been banned from entering Sarawak.

Nurul Izzah also denied entry by Immigration authorities on December 6th last year.
