In Bintulu, a man in his 30's sustained minor injuries when a portion of the floor at SK Kuala Annau, a polling station for the Jepak constituency, collapsed this morning.
The victim and 40 other voters were waiting for their turn to cast their ballots at the semi-wooden school when the 8.15 am incident occurred.
District police chief Superintendent Zailani Amit, who confirmed the incident, said only one victim was injured, sustaining wounds and bruises, and has been given treatment for the injuries.
The identity of the victim was not revealed.
The voting process at the school proceeded as usual despite the incident.
