#prnsarawak Datuk Seri Hashim pointed out that the nomination and polling dates for the Sarawak election were not decided by any political party.

He pointed out that these dates were only decided during a three-hour long meeting, held this morning.

He said EC takes into consideration the usage of premises for polling and important dates in the state.

The last state election was held in 2011.

During the 10th state election, nomination day fell on April 6 and polling day was on April 16.
