#prnsarawak Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has been urged to study the Malaysia Agreement 1963 before questioning the Sarawak government's immigration autonomy to bar individuals from entering the state.

Santubong MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said it was the state government's right to look after and safeguard Sarawak's interest from elements that could undermine peace and harmony.

He also said the decision of the state government to restrict certain individuals from entering Sarawak was not based on personal interest but on the aspirations and wishes of people in the state.

Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi stressed that the state government is not biased, as it does the same to BN leaders from the peninsula when necessary.

He was commenting on Datuk Seri Azmin's statement questioning the power of Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem in barring certain individuals from entering Sarawak.
